What we collect

• Your email address, to sign you in (magic link — no passwords).
• A display name and, optionally, a rough area or block.
• The trips and requests you create, and their status history.
• Trust signals: who you follow, vouch for, and any kudos or reports.

What we deliberately do NOT collect

• No phone numbers. Neighbours coordinate inside Kotrip — we never store or show a number.
• No full addresses. Only a rough area you choose to share. Handoffs happen at a spot you agree between yourselves.
• No payment details. Kotrip never processes money. Amounts are only recorded so you and your neighbour agree — you settle directly.

Who can see what

Data is scoped to your society. The details of a request are visible only to the two people involved (and, where needed, an admin). Kudos appear publicly only after an admin approves them. Grievances are private — visible to you and the admins, never to the person you reported.

Your rights

You can download a full copy of your data at any time from Settings, and you can delete your account there too. When you delete, your name and profile are removed; past run history is kept in anonymised form so other neighbours' records stay accurate.

Consent

You give consent when you join, and we record when. You can withdraw it by deleting your account. This MVP runs in a single residential society for a small pilot.
